POS integration
PRO requires the Pro add-on.
If you run a point-of-sale that supports it (e.g. CPPos), the POS can pull who's working today from your published schedule and show it beside its own bookings. The connection is read-only and server-to-server: the POS polls every few minutes; nothing it does can change your schedule.
Setup
- Settings → POS integration → Generate key, and paste the key into the POS's configuration. Regenerating later invalidates the old key everywhere — re-paste it.
- Give each staff member their POS user ID on their roster profile, so the POS can match your people to its own accounts. Unmapped staff still appear by name.
Checking it's working
The same Settings section shows a health line once the POS has connected:
Last POS pull: 3 mins ago — cppos/1.6.2
That's your at-a-glance proof of life, and it names the POS version talking to your site — useful when support asks whether the two ends are on compatible versions.
Only published schedules are served; draft days come back empty. If the POS shows a stale day, check the week is actually published.
