PRO the free plugin updates through WordPress.org like any other plugin and needs none of this.

Your license key

Settings → License: enter the key from your studiotoolbox.com account and press Activate. The section always shows honest status — active, expiring, or not reachable.

• Deactivate frees this site's seat for use on another site. (Just deactivating or deleting the plugin does not consume or free a seat — only this button does.)
• Re-check re-validates on demand, e.g. right after renewing.

What the license gates — and what it never touches

A license gates updates and support. Never functionality. If your license expires or the license server is unreachable, everything keeps working — you just stop receiving updates until it's sorted. There is no kill switch, and the plugin fails open by design: connectivity problems never degrade your scheduling.

Local and staging sites don't consume a seat.

With an active license, Pro updates appear in wp-admin like any plugin update, served from studiotoolbox.com. What's sent during checks is listed in Data & privacy.
