Approvals
Schedules → Approvals is the one queue for everything needing a manager's decision:
- Time off — pending requests, with approve/deny. Approved days mark the person's painter and your builder.
- Trades — pending tradeboard completions, when the site uses manual trade approval (setting); approving swaps the schedule on the spot.
When the time off clashes with a scheduled shift
If you approve time off for someone who's already assigned a shift on a published week during those days, the plugin stops and asks you to confirm first — it won't quietly approve into a scheduling gap. For each affected shift it shows who's free to cover (staff who hold the shift's qualifiers, aren't already working then, and aren't off themselves), so you can hand the shift to a chosen person and approve in one step — or leave it as-is to sort out later. Every reassignment is recorded in the schedule's history.
This only comes up for a published schedule; approving time off for a week you haven't published yet just marks the days off, since nothing is committed.

Below the queues, a log of past decisions with timestamps — including trades that completed automatically under auto-approval mode, marked as such. When someone asks "who approved that?", the answer is here.
